Actually the way it works is that any player not drafted are placed on waivers for 2 days( I think that is how the league is set)after you finalized the draft then everyone that is not claimed becomes and FA. So no matter when you pick up your players you'll be able to get them 48 hours after the draft was finalized or immediately if you pick them up after the 48hr waiver period.
I put in waiver claims for all my guys earlier this morning. They should go through Mar 18 11:59pm PT.
Yep so I guess at that time anyone that has not been claimed becomes a FA. So if you claim the guys you drafted after that time they will immediately join your team. Not that it makes a big difference either way I just wanted to point out that if you can't do it for a couple more days you'll still be ok and won't have to wait 2 days for the players to show up. CK
Oski, I think we we were going to give you the next pick to replace Phil Nevin. That way you have the first choice of all the remaining players.
*277. Ty Wigginton Nevin who??? Spring #'s AVG G AB R H TB 2B 3B HR RBI .410 14 39 9 16 25 1 1 2 9 In the last 3 years, my 3rd baseman have been Eric Hinske, Albert Pujols, and Troy Glaus. My lucky streak might continue with this guy. Or could he could have a horrible year and I'll be platooning Valentin and Bellhorn.
Is it okay if I start taking free agents that noone picked in the draft? Good, because I already did! Isringhausen doesn't sound to sturdy. Had to get Steve Kline as insurance.
So, looking over this, what do you guys think were the mistakes you made in this draft? I can't believe I forgot about Sheffield and took Vidro.
I sort of messed up taking Morris instead of Mussina. I didn't see that Mike was still on the board. Oh well.. I'm still pleased with how things have turned out so far.
