    Who wins the all pirate team Gruden Bowl next Sunday? I'm stickin' with my Bucs. I think the difference between their defence and the Raiders defence is much bigger than the difference between their offense and the Raiders offense. If #4 ranked Philly gave up 20 points, I wouldn't expect any better from Oakland, and Tampa only gives up around 12 or 13 per.

    I pretty much detest the Raiders and all that they stand for, but I think they are a team on a mission. Rich Gannon looks pretty awesome right now. What may tilt this one towards Tampa Bay is Charles Woodson being banged up in the secondary. The Raiders still look pretty vulnerable to the pass. I think the Raiders will win a close one, say 27 to 24.

    I initially read the title as 'Dick the Pirate Bowl'. Wasn't sure what that meant...but it sounds funny. :)

    Yeah, the number one offense in the NFL versus the number one defense. A team from the East coast versus one from the West coast. A coach against his former team. The MVP vs. the Defensive Player of the Year. I just can't understand why people would find this game compelling. :rolleyes:

    Oakland will not lose, they've come to far, and there are too many years of frustration to lose their opportunity. The Bucs Defense is great, But the Raiders have the Heart, the Offense, The Leadership, The Defense, The Experience, and The Pride.

    Raiders all the way.

    Gannon and the boys are gonna get it done. Tampa has a great D but I think the Oakland D will play just well enough to win.

    I was a little surprised to see the Raiders listed as a 4 point favorite today. I was thinking the line would be tighter than that. I might go Bucs on the moneyline.

    Do I root for the white trash thug known as Romanowski, or do I stick with the Bucs and the walking time bomb Warren Sapp. :rolleyes:

    My opinion and I'll stick with it, but thanks for the insight. Hell, I might even make my girlfriend happy and watch an episode of Trading Spaces to cure my Sunday night boredom.
