If Lowry is a bowling ball, does Yao represent a pin? I had this scary thought recently of Lowry barreling into traffic and knocking one pin into another pin named Yao Ming. Isn't that how Battier got hurt? I could see it happening with Brooks, too, just because he is a penetrating PG. Yao has played the majority of his career with Alston, who forayed into the lane once or twice a week. Francis was a penetrator but Yao was also younger, lighter and didn't have a history of injuries back then. Is this an area of concern or much ado about nothing?
Its just something that we have to live with, a center is suppose to be in the paint for rebounds or tipins.
What's Scola doing there? I figured he'd be in Argentina in the offseason. Does his family live in Houston now?
Yao Ming has tree trunk legs...you should be worried about what happens to Lowry if he runs into him.

Damn MAD props to Scola for being there working out. I mean Taylor needs to put in max effort to make it in this league. Yao needs max effort to recover from this surgery. Your typical NBA player in Luis's position would be checking out Lambos in anticipation of the fat contract they are about to get. Not Scola though, that dude really is about winning.
Loved seeing the photo. Yao looks good, from what you can see, and it's groovy that Scola and Taylor are working out with him. Luis never takes off. He'd be working out in Argentina, but I'm glad he's still here. Maybe Taylor is looking to take the next step in the coming season. I'll take any hint of that I can get!

Scola and Yao and Battier are really tight. There's a REMOTE chance that we will package scola/battier/yao to trade for some flying athletic players. I know a lot guys here do not really appreciate them, it might make those fans happy and not too bad for those 3 since they can still be together.
Didn't Yao hurt his knee when Hayes fell into it? Somebody will be in the paint, if not Brooks/Lowry, then Chuck, or opposing players penetrating or trying to rebound or whatever. There's going to be danger whoever he plays with or agaisnt.
