He's a Clipper now, and we traded him there. It would be completely out of character for him to say anything else.
Some guys cant afford that lifestyle or have time cause of work/family/school. You toss that **** around too much.
I am going to our game next week in Dallas but did you miss my thread on me going to our game in LA at Staples?
Only to people mistakenly calling me a Mavs fan. They start it so I gotta finish it. Also, I’m not rich or wealthy by any means. I just don’t spend money on material possessions or cars or housing so I can do as many Houston sports related things as possible.
Been saying it all night.... Its okay thou, we got Weber.... Wait.... Its okay thou.... We got Brown.... hmm wait...... Man f tonight.... and F Bev who never actually fought anyone....
I hear ya, but that was just a weak ass tweet from him. Houston made him and gave him his career. I mean I get Bevs personality, I just think that tweet was dumb as all hell. I have more damn respect for Lou right now smh
Honestly, Beverley was always a criminally overrated part of the Rockets. He's Kevin Garnett in terms of fake passion, except without any of the talent. And I don't know why people find it so difficult to believe to believe he'd turn on us. It's the NBA. Anybody can beat anybody on any given night. They wouldn't beat us in a playoff series.
You guys didn't seem to have any problem with Pat when he was doing the same exact thing here in Houston.
For what its worth: one time Beverley tweeted for fans to come hoop with him at some park, and as me and my buddies were literally on our way to play basketball elsewhere, we decided to check it out. It was cool playing with him, but honestly, he could not have been more of a dick. He hardly acknowledged anyone that was there and had this pissed off/aloof/irritated attitude the whole time. We knew better than to ask for autographs/pictures, but those that did were completely shut down, not unexpectedly. I tried to write it off as him just being an NBA tough bulldog, and that I was expecting too much by thinking he'd be a fun guy. But it left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't know why a guy would publicly invite Houston fans to come hang out if he was gonna be so unwelcoming and unfriendly. This was shortly before we traded him for context.
