http://featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2009/10/oprah-sarah-palin.html Oprah Winfrey will interview former Alaska governor Sarah Palin on her talk show on Nov. 16. Winfrey will get the first interview that the former vice presidential candidate is giving to promote her new book, "Going Rogue."
Really? "Going Rogue?" Doesn't that mean not wearing underwear? Or does she see herself like this: Don't see the resemblance, beyond touching her politically meaning career death.
It's mavericky to go rogue. Hopefully this is the first step in this woman becoming just-another-celebrity and she can be safely written-off as a viable political candidate.
I am thinking they probably made deals on what oprah can or cannt ask in order to agree to do the interview, incentive for oprah? ratings and viewers, I don't watch opera at all, I am going to see this just out of curiosity...it's always comical (and sad and alarming) what Palin says and the fact that people say that she could be even a candidate to represent our country to the world.
She must be the least insightful interview I've ever heard. This will be painful for Oprah. I love biographies, and I'm interested in her political story, but I can't imagine the book or the interview being worth the time.
I'm in line for the book and will watch Palin/Oprah enthusiastically...I guess that makes me a john, eh.
Great. Here we are in another Palin thread... just get it over with now so that by the time of the interview, this thread will either be locked or we'll actually be able to talk about what was said in the interview. I know you're clicking refresh every few minutes waiting for some justification to start, but please don't feel constrained by protocol. Just do it so it will be done. Thanks.
