You got one? What kind? You like it? What do you like to cook on it? I may be in the market in the next month or so, and the market is fairly saturated, so I'm starting to do some research.
the blackstone has been getting a lot of run on my social media feed seems odd to me when you could just get a regular grill and buy a griddle to go on top of it also i don't really see the appeal unless 1) you're feeding a LOT of people routinely or 2) you just have some dream of being a short-order cook
I've been looking at these as well. I'm thinking of going with the 3 burner char griller flat iron. Looks like it can be folded down and is a little portable.
lol. I'm laughing because outdoor griddles have become so viral the last couple of years. I've had multiple people talk about them just this year, when a few years ago, nobody'd even mention one. And, of course, the name everybody mentions is... Blackstone. It got to the point I had to ask one of my friends if everybody was reading the same Facebook feed or something. That's the dance Jimmy Butler made famous and put Tomball on the map.
Check out the Sam's Club version. It's not Blackstone. I think it's just a Member's Mark one. It's all stainless steel and seems to be made of better quality stuff.
Seriously. My family requested burgers tonight. And I'm making them on the stovetop INSIDE. I'll get back to grilling outside when it finally falls below 90 degrees. Like in January.
Man cooking on restaurant equipment is cool af. It would probably be OP for a home cook but damn it if it isn't sweet.
Oddly enough, this has become my latest weird YouTube obsession. I love watching these guys do their thing. I would LOVE to have a kitchen like this in my house. I'd be cooking 3 meals a day!
