Opening Day Box Score - 1984 - The Dream Begins

Back when we destroyed DallAss every night, with Dwight we'll return to those days of normality.

 

The Twin Towers were unstoppable back then. Good memories.

 

I forgot that there was a time box scores looked looker that...specifically how three pointers made were listed, but not attempts.feeling very old.

Don't recall the Mavs haven't so many good players back then, then went to the second round the next year!

Only 24 pts, no rebounds or blocked shots, no assist. This guy is gonna be a bust

 

I love how Rob Reid is the designated fouler on the team (according to this boxscore)

They truly did have 'role' players back in the day

 

Reid was the vet on that young team, but he did hit some pretty big shots vs. the Lakers in the Playoffs.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure we are the only team ever to have eliminated the Showtime Lakers twice. Which is pretty freakin' sweet

 

No minutes for me on that particular night...

 

I think the box scores only showed who had the most ast, rebounds, etc for the respective teams. The totals on the bottom show we had 42 rebounds while Sampson had a team leading 13.
