Can't wait to see what Sengun is gonna do next season. I think he's the most ready to take the next big step forward and threaten for an all-star appearance, followed closely by Green. The biggest question isn't even his offense, he's already just about there, he just needs to play good enough defense and avoid fouling so that he can play 34+ minutes a game and rack up those volume numbers, and he needs a playmaker at the 1 who can consistently get him the ball.

Paul George comparing Alpi to Magic Johnson.

Pretty sure you read that here before, but dismissed the person posting it as crazy.

Under the circumstances stone's bound to send Al to Pee somewhere else next season…i dO hope to see a pretty good ROI from that deal.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer here but the Rockets were tied for the 2nd worst record in the league this year with Sengun as their starting center.

I love the guy, think he is the best player on the team currently, and think the sky is the limit but if you are comparing him to Magic Johnson than yeah... you are a bit crazy. Magic took a middle of the pack Lakers team, and simply with adding him to their lineup took them to being a 60 win championship team overnight, and completely revitalized Kareem who looked close to retirement.

I don't expect Sengun to have taken the Rockets to the finals in his rookie year in order to be compared to Magic Johnson, but if he was in the conversation then the Rockets would have at least been a play-in team.

    Love Sengun... but good lord.

    Nobody doubts Sengun is talented.

Jokic is talented......MVP talented (like Embiid is as well)

    But they won't win championships

Denver is the number one seed in the West.....no more excuses of not having enough
talent......they have apparently more talent than everyone else in the West......but will
be bounced in the second round or if they face the Warriors or Grizz.

Warriors going small and out running and out hustling Jokic from end to end
and inability to defend the 3-point line hurts the Nuggets chances.

Grizz have the ability to move out Steven Adams for JJJ whom can shot 3's
and provide a 5-man out (all 5 players able to shoot 3's) and Jokic will
be unable to just camp out in the paint. He will be forced to rotate to contest
the 3-point line which again will be the Nuggets Achilles Heel in the playoffs.

Sengun is in their (Embiid/Jokic) image.....champions of the regular season.....bust in the playoffs.
Liability. [Sabonis is different....far more mobile]

Sengun is more mobile than Embiid and Jokic.

It's actually quite funny - the detractors go "oh no, he is too small" and "he is not mobile enough" at the same time.

    Neither is true.

Context always matter. Do the refs favor warriors more, will injury occur to the nuggets?

I hate folks that say oh jokic can never win bc he doesn't fit the mold. A bust in playoffs and then when he fails to win it all, seee I was right about jokic all along.

Building a sht narrative simply based on that he doesn't win a ring.

U can literally do that about any player yet to win a ring.

Worrying about championships when we literally can't win 25 games. Hilarious.

Right now most of the team are barely NBA players on a contending team, it's not a time to be picky because Jokic can't win a championship

This is the same PG who fought to get Westbrook on his team a few months back? Definitely someone we should listen to

Funny thing is these players love the flashy passing TO THEM ... and the SOFs want Alpie to be the guy receiving the passes and baby hooking to a 20/10 statline with nary a jumper in sight. The cruel irony of a 90s era player trapped in the modern NBA.

    How do you figure that?

I'm curious to know what your evidence is

I noticed you wouldn't say that about Sabonis..,.. because in a race from
FT line to FT line Sabonis would beat Sengun by 30 ft...ok 20 ft
