Nba tv is showing the old drafts. Pretty good stuff especially looking at how far the draft has come. Dallas is debating between malone and detlef. Great options,they tok a good player vs hall of fame player.
Malone thought he was going to dallas and dallas never talked to detlef. They got a good player in detlef,but missed on a hof in malone. Malone was just crying after being drafted,lol.
The funniest is the 1984 draft, the commentators are stunned about the Bowie choice, I think one of the mentions something like "Sam sat out a year in college with a knee probelm."
