The Astros are the better team from the better league. They do not appear to be the hungrier team, though.

I'm hoping for a massive sense of urgency tomorrow night.

Well, I took my nine year old son to game 2 and game 6. We lost both and I am bad luck. I just sold my game 7 tickets to a friend for face value for good karma and will watch on my couch. Better work as I could make some dough on those tickets.

Go Stros. Bats better wake up. You hear me, 6-9 hitters????

What's the big deal with Bregman carrying the bat to 1st base? Pedro Cerrano carried his bat all the way around the bases.

It's probably mainly because their best pitching match-ups are lined up to our home field. And, their not-as-effective pitchers were lined up to their home field. To a lesser extent, I believe both teams are putting extra pressure on themselves to perform up to expectations in front of their home fans and are therefore playing tight without actually just playing baseball as it should be played. It's become more about appeasing home fan expectations of how they should perform at home rather than just being a fun game to be played carefree and loose without added pressure. As far as what Correa is doing, who the f**k knows? That guy is just lost 95% of the time at the plate.

This season the Astros suffered only 4 losing streaks of 2 home games or more in a row, including one 3 game streak, which came at the hands of the Oakland A’s. They have now lost 3 straight home games to Washington obviously. This would be the first 4 game home losing streak of the season if they drop Game 7. It would also further make history by becoming the only series ever in a major sport to see 7 road wins.
