Absolutely. because that’s what they’re telling him to do. but it’s also what they should do in the confines of this offense because they don’t actually have an offense designed to take advantage of his pocket mobility. so he know now it’s useless to even try to find a receiver because at best it’ll be a semi open dude and the risk of a pick is worse the. Just running out of bounds. if they had plays that actually had him purposefully run out of pocket than throw it it would keep the defense more honest on his non purposefully scrambles which would result in more yards for him or players open.
Watson is good, you just need a coach that can accentuate his greatness. Watson is more than willing..
Watson's individual brilliance and talent is the only thing that makes Bob Iook somewhat acceptable on offense
We'll never know for sure but I think they have told Watson to cut down on the risky running. I get it during the regular season, I do, but this is the playoffs. You only need to win 3-4 games, you go all out and play and put your body on the line. You never know if you'll be here next year. It should not have taken almost 3 quarters to get a designed run for Watson or an RPO Bills entire defense is watching him, they are scared of him, play off that fear.
was thinking the same thing (Dabo), but really doubt that’s a possibility, but if you want to go the current trend of the NFL to hire young, offensive coaching minds from college, you better throw your hat in the ring soon.
