How about when the guy that homers isn’t a big leaguer on any other club... also like how the fastball on the triple was 94 and then comes back at Abreu with 97 mph fastballs.

If the Astros win, they'll lose their '18 Verlander 10 K in a Win virginity. All previous 10K instances this season happened @MMP and resulted in L's.

    *sigh*

Maybe they should start playing small ball and sacrificing guys on first and second over to second and third with one out. Especially with Jake up; he can lay down a bunt and might even have a chance of beating it out for a hit. Even if you end up with two outs and both men in scoring position, there might be a chance to score on a wild pitch or something. These double plays are just killer.

I sure hope Hinch is using that Stanford psychology degree to its fullest to keep Springer from going insane.

well he's given up 3 runs his past 2 outings. he can get lit up too.

damn, he also had a 10.8 era/2.55 whip last year in limited innings.

It's crazy to see this team put up 10+ on the Dodgers staff last year at home in the WS yet get held to 2 runs or less against the White Sox and Royals staff.

Yes, his performance over 6.2 innings as a rookie September callup is very relevant.

But regardless, he's good, Soria's good, the rest are indeed crappy.
