You're right. ESPN might as well start running the promos for Texans-Bills Saturday PM (worst time slot for the worst game).
we have got to try to get the 3rd seed because then we will play the Steelers or titans (I think) and I would much rather play them then the bills mobile qbs give us so much trouble
With all the injuries that JJ has had in the last couple of years, he needs to stay out and rehab until he's 100%... Worst thing he can do is rush and then get re-injured. T_Man
It's very possible for him to be 100% from a torn pec after about 12 weeks. It would be a MASSIVE boost to this team's psyche to have JJ coming out of that tunnel on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 (since we all know that's the time slot we're getting).
If they're locked into the 4 seed, it will be a given that every player will rest the last week. If there's a chance they can still get to 3 (and it will likely come down to that final week), they should go for the win.
Yep, I think the only team capable of beating Baltimore right now is the Chiefs. if the Chiefs can lose to the Bears then the Texans need to go for that last win assuming they beat the Bucs.
Hard to see them really "locked in" to the 4 seed though. If the Chiefs lose next week, Texans have a shot at the 3 seed and have to go for it. If the Chiefs win, even though unlikely, the Chiefs could still lose the last week, and if the Texans win the last two and tie with the Chiefs, by head to head they'd get the 3 seed. Meaning this is kind of impossible right? It's too bad the Texans don't start their last game later.
Lol I was just thinking that. Always get the shitty Saturday time slot. I think one of the games vs bengals was a night game. Could be wrong though.
Nope, always been that time slot because its always been the least desirable matchup of fan bases/media markets. If the Texans were matched up against the Steelers, there's a good chance they'd play that game on Sunday given the Steelers fan base around the country watches in droves. Same if the Patriots somehow slip-up and the Bills end up winning the division.
All the games are at noon for that reason, correct? Given that the Chargers are just god-awful right now, I don't see them winning that last game in KC.... Texans best chance to move up will be determined on Sunday night with the Chiefs-Bears matchup.
I was just looking at that and the Patriots would have to lose 2 and the Bills win 2 for the Bills to move ahead of them since the Pats win the tiebreaker. KC has the tiebreaker over the Pats, so they could move up to 2nd with two wins and a Pats loss.
And one of their games is a head-to-head. In the end, it seems like Baltimore is a tier above everybody... and KC is coming on strong after starting the season sorta iffy. The rest of the teams, minus the last wild card team, are all about the same. Anybody could beat anybody, regardless of venue, including the Pats.
