With Kubiak I always felt like we were in the knife-fight between the American and the Nazi in Saving Private Ryan, and that we were the American getting slowly stabbed to death.

With O'Brien I think we are the ones doing the stabbing. The NFL is not a sport that you can afford to have mercy in. Compare Kubiak's second half offense when he had the lead to O'Brien's final drive where we kicked the FG and you'll see what I mean.

Derek Carr gets sacked by JJ Watt on the first play, and in a bizarre twist, he suddenly switches bodies with his brother David. The Texans go on to have 20 sacks in the game, because let's face it, David Carr just gets sacked.

Raiders really got shut down last week offensively by the Jets.

Hope this defense can do something similar. Offense is probably my main concern though. Gotta do a better job with that.

Still early, but I now go into games thinking we likely have the coaching advantage. The only other time I've thought this is the first season and a half with Phillips. Now we have Romeo and B'OB so it's twice as nice.
