I agree but you just got through talking **** about Josh Gordon but then went back and defended Aaron Hernandez (who was actually drafted by the patriots) and they both had the same “known” problem in college.
I root for the team, not the players and don't really care about what they do in their personal lives. This goes for all sports. It's the reason I didn't have an issue with the Stros trading for Osuna. You have an issue cheering for Osuna? I don't.
The problem is their off the field crap affects the team. I guess Tyreek Hill breaking his son's arm is an "oh well" situation? Let's root for the child abuser! (Chiefs' fan dilemma). Ray Rice smacking his wife around on camera....should have been NO BIG DEAL? Osuna ended up being cleared, but he served his suspension before the Astros got him.
I said Gordon was an idiot for choosing weed over football. He wasn't a bad guy for week. Hernandez had weed issues, but he had VIOLENT acts at Florida that came to light AFTER his murder case happened. Not in the same category.
Aaron Hernandez had the same KNOWN issues as Josh Gordon. Aaron Hernandez was drafted by a contender AFTER mar1juana issues. Josh Gordon was traded for AFTER known mar1juana issues.
WEED. Weed not Something teams care about UNLESS they are dumb enough to not stop during their testing window. Players know when they are going to be tested in the offseason.
I'm sure he looked great in shorts here too. Unfortunately, he just couldn't stay healthy, or play well when he was, to warrant an extension.
