Bob will be trading for this contract in the next 2-3 years. ;)

The Athletic's Aaron Reiss pegs Texans third-year WR Keke Coutee as a "candidate to land elsewhere" this offseason.
Coutee has largely fallen out of favor under coach Bill O'Brien. The former fourth-rounder has missed time with soft-tissue injuries and was healthy-scratched at times down the stretch last season. Houston then went out and signed Randall Cobb to take over slot duties, essentially eliminating Coutee from the lineup. At 5'11/180, that's where Coutee lines up. Coutee has flashed at times in the NFL, but he needs a change of scenery. He could likely be had for a conditional late-round pick.

The Athletic's Aaron Reiss believes Kenny Stills is the likely "odd man out" among Texans wideouts.
The Texans signed Randall Cobb and traded the No. 57 overall pick in this year's draft for Brandin Cooks, joining them with Will Fuller to be Houston's new three-wide set following the trade of DeAndre Hopkins. Stills is entering the final year of his contract with a $7 million cap number, all of which can be cleared with a release or trade. Houston likely would have been better off just not signing Cobb and keeping Stills, but they're here now. Trading Stills would likely only net a late-rounder. He turns 28 next week.

I doubt we trade Kenny before the draft if we do at all.

As soon as he learns this defense, his sack rate will go down.

Someone take BoB's phone before he trades our 2nd round pick for him.

    FIFY.

As a side note, my biggest qualm with BOB isn't even related to coaching, though I'm not a big football X's and O's guy. It's that we've completely obliterated our future for a team that's incredibly unlikely to do anything. I can get down with "win-now" mantra, or in BOB's case, "burn it down" mode...but the time (and team) must be right. Us getting a nickel on the dollar for DHop...because he wanted more money, that's just the nail in the coffin. He's the prototypical win now player! In the prime of his career. What a shame. Newsflash: people that are elite at what they do want to get paid like it. Why is that such a bad thing? You don't even have to pay him! Anyways, be the Astros and pick up Greinke. Hell, be the Rams and pick up Ramsey. Not every win now move will pay off, but you have to at least be a win now team. Right now we're like the Indians going all in after trading Bauer and Kluber. It just makes no sense.

What a freaking calamity the Texans are. Firing Gaine...then botching the NE guy...then promoting BOB...and extending him...then losing out on the NE guy...what a joke. This Easterby character is just a church boy life coach as well. Why does he have any say in football operations? Are the Texans one big SNL skit? I swear, I'm really only watching from afar at this point from a pure entertainment value. I'm not investing any more time or money into Cal's big show. If there is a God...first, please solve this COVID-19 mess...then, please send JJ and Watson to a team that's worthy of their play.

What would you all be willing to give up for OBJ? How's about our 2nd and 4th rd picks? Or a 2nd, 5th rds and Coutee?
