    Thats a grammar error not a spelling error no word up there is spelled wrong, sure i might have used it in the wrong wat but its not spelled wrong

    But the words are misspelled.

    My example : I used "to", instead of "too". The meaning of my sentence clearly implied that I wanted the latter form, but I mistakenly put the first one in.

    That counts as a spelling error because a letter is omitted. The correct way to spell the word I wanted was t-o-o, not t-o, as I wrote. It would be as incorrect as writing "tody", when you meant to write "today" - both are omissions of key letters, or in some cases, substituting the wrong letter. Like spelling the word "todey", instead of "today".

    And I took myself down, because I couldn't stand the thought of something so ignominous as being called out for using "to" instead of "too". I learned that stuff back in first grade.

    Now this is a sticky subject. The contest officially started at midnight on January 1. CK joined after the start time. The post in question came in the interim. Is it a kill? Is he an official entrant? Who is the judge for this contest? Is it HtownHero's decision to make?
