I'm fine with the notion of "pedigree" inflating expectations, but I never saw the translatable talent in Scoot being worthy of a high draft choice. Still don't. He doesn't have just one thing to fix. He is clearly above-average in nothing. I see a journeyman NBA player who probably peaked 2-3 years ago relative to his age group.
