Paolo has the moves of an elite player. Paolo lacks the decision making and the shooting of a star player in today's game. Take out the 20-30 best NBA players, and he may be the MVP. Those players exist, though. He isn't good enough to beat the best as the primary on ball guy, and his skill set is not conducive to playing off ball. Maybe he can improve his shooting to overcome the hurdles such that he can be the on ball guy. Right now, it looks like the predraft fears are more likely correct that he isn't good enough to be the man, but will be good enough for a team to build around him for a team that just isn't good enough to be a contender. Luckily, the Magic have Franz and are in the East.
