Helps when you rarely score 1 run... BTW, we did win one game this year 1-0, and it was started by Brad Peacock.
Bob Knepper once had three 1-0 shutout victories in season. And in SPORT Magazine, Jay Stuller wrote an extraordinarily positive article on Knepper, entitled, You Can't Compare Him To Koufax...Yet.
I thought maybe we'd sweep, but to lose 2/3 along with all the injuries it really makes that substantial AL lead worth having. At some point this season we'll be completely healthy, sucks knowing that it will be game 130+ before that even happens, doubtful that has ever happened to a team as good as this one.
I'm just trying to stir up enough that they hear me and blow up in the 7th-9th.. leave me alone with your "we did win ONE game 1-0, and Kershaw" I'm bored at work and rarely complain about this team, today, I feel like it... In all honesty I don't think we have looked as good post All star game.
Just saw that Mchugh is making his first start of the season against the Orioles Saturday. Hopefully he pitches like he did before his injury and we won't need to trade for another starter.
I don't know if I would say he was good. He was good the first 4 innings or so. Not so much after that. However, even though he hasn't been pitching bad, he hasn't been as good as Peacock or Fiers. Both Peacock and Fiers have shown the ability to consistently throw 6+ innings their last few starts. Not to mention that Morton has consistently struggled the third time through the order. His first time or two through the order has been dominant. So that makes him a good candidate to move to the bullpen and be a lights out 1-2 inning reliever.

**** luck on that bounce off the wall but George probably should've either booked it right off first or held at second.
