Exactly. I think a judge would be pretty harsh to Congress if he fought this in court. Maybe... you could make a case that Hunter Biden should be subpoenaed but even then, the motive is clear that it’s 100% political.

Still I believe everyone should honor Congressional subpoenas. Except there should be massive political repercussions for the jackass in Congress that would do this to try and waste the time and smear a presidential nominee like this. You didn’t see Democrats in 2016 haul Trump in front of Congress to talk about Eric Trump’s business dealings. That would have been incredibly politically stupid to do in an election year. It should be politically stupid for the Republicans to haul Biden in front of Congress. If he broke the law let the FBI investigate and let the DOJ bring charges.

L-O-L at your hypocrisy. Just comical and not worthy of my time, but it's important you learn from your mistake.

100% political? The whole impeachment episode is a political charade hosted by the Democrats! Rashid Tlaib said it best, right after Trump was elected "We're going to impeach the Mother F*****!" Note this was well before "the call" with Ukraine...

So much winning, the squad is almost tired of winning.

dobro's response is the classic "try to pass it off with humor, and then hope the liberal pile-on crew comes to his rescue!"

"100% political" - I'm still laughing at poor dobro's comedy.

Why in the hell would any response to your non-sense be anything but comedy? You are a laughing stock around here, and if you don't realize it, then that's even more freaking hilarious.

Stop saying Biden is the 'most electable'. Trump will run rings round him

Supporters of Joe Biden are unlikely to be persuaded by most of the common criticisms. They know he can be rambling and unintelligible. They know his record is unimpressive and that he doesn’t really have “policy proposals”. None of this matters, though, because to them he has the most important quality of all: he can beat Donald Trump. Nothing you can say about Biden’s record, platform, or mental state matters next to the argument that he is the best hope Democrats have of getting Trump out of office.

There’s just one problem: it’s a myth. It is a myth just as it was a myth that Hillary Clinton was a good candidate against Trump. Biden is not, in fact, the pragmatic choice. He would not beat Donald Trump. He would lose. And we must say this over and over again. Forget his flubs. Forget his finger-nibbling. Biden would be crushed by Donald Trump. If you want Trump out of office, don’t support Biden.

This argument makes no sense, the basis is comparing Clinton to Biden which is not a good comparison.

Has Biden had 20 plus years of negative reporting about him?

Does Biden have a wife who was impeached for getting a BJ and then lying under oath?

Does Biden have a wife who has been accused of sexual harassement?

Will Biden be under investigation by the FBI?

This is not just about an establishment candidate it's about running a candidate against Trump who does not equal him in negative ratings.

And did we really need to talk about finger nibbling?

I am really disappointed that pundits can't ague against Biden with anything of real substance.

    I found this interesting.

    https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/4...drawn-to-biden-more-than-other-2020-democrats

Republican voters are more drawn to former Vice President Joe Biden than to the rest of the candidates in the crowded Democratic presidential primary field, according to a new nationwide survey.

The Hill-HarrisX poll released Monday shows that 33 percent of GOP respondents named Biden as the Democratic candidate who came the closest to sharing their political views.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg received the second-highest support among Republican voters at 30 percent and 28 percent thought Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) better aligned with their views.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg both garnered 26 percent of respondents who said the candidates closely shared their values.

Biden, the front-runner in most national polls, has long sought to position himself as the most electable challenger to President Trump.

The former vice president has often argued that he is the only candidate who can unseat Trump and has pointed to polling that shows him beating the president in 2020.

Last month, Biden sent out a fundraising email to supporters citing a Times-Siena College poll showing him ahead in a hypothetical 2020 match-up with Trump in key swing states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida and Wisconsin while Warren and Sanders trailed.

"This speaks for itself," Biden’s campaign said in the fundraising email. "If Joe Biden wins the primary, he can beat Trump in a general election. Other candidates can’t."

However, what Biden’s fundraising email didn’t highlight was the fact that Sanders led Trump by 3 points in Michigan, tied with him in Wisconsin and narrowly trailed him in Pennsylvania. The email also failed to note that Trump led all three Democrats in the poll in North Carolina.

The Hill-HarrisX survey was conducted among 1,000 registered voters between Dec. 13-14. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

The far left is a delirious group. I get it. They see this as their moment, their time to snatch away the reigns of power. Finally, after all these years, the country is read to lurch left and become a socialist state. Trump is their ticket because in a normal election the radical left would probably fail against a normal mainstream conservative. But not Trump. They are sure they can beat him and someone like Joe Biden dares to stand in the way. They have to get him out of the way if they are to seize power.

Modern polling has serious blindspots. Polling has evolved from getting the feel for the public pulse to wording questions in such a manner to achieve ones goal.

Does Biden come closest to sharing my political views? Yes. Would I vote for him? NO!

The guy is going senile right before our eyes and the DNC has turned a blind eye to this. All jokes aside, a senile president is very very dangerous. It might be funny to joke about Trump launching nukes at anyone who makes fun of him, but if its anyone who is going to do it prematurely, its going to be a leader who is not in the right frame of mind. Trump will destroy him.

I admit that Biden has lost his fastball and is not as quick as he once was but to say he is going senile means that you are not being realistic and not willing to argue on the merits.
