We are exactly one game off of my expectation. Turn any win into a loss and we are at 500 which is where I started. I'm an optimist and have not paid attention the past several years to be turned into a defeatist.
My nerves need a break in this next game. Let's skip the nailbiter ending and just take this team down early, and keep on adding to their misery until it's over. Time to take this Division! Go Texans!
I didn't go into the season with too many expectations and I'm an optimist as well. I really just wanted to see progress and we've made a considerable amount in only 10 games. The 2023 Draft and FA acquisitions have certainly exceeded expectations. For example, I don't think anyone saw Noah Brown having this kind of breakout, obviously he's doing it with a rookie QB a new system and rookie OC. He came from a high powered Dallas Offense with a vet QB in Dak. An average per reception of 20.9 per catch is phenomenal. I'm in awe of how well Stroud, Slowik and the offense has done so quickly. So CJ finally looked a bit human last week, but I'm truly enjoying the ride and can't wait for games each week. The team is growing and finding new ways to win each week, We could easily be 8-2, and that thought makes me very excited about the last 7 games.
Shocked to see Noah on here again with the Texans working him out pregame last week. Hopefully nothing serious, because he seemed to be our best route runner on the longer crosses etc.
If Texans just kicked field goals instead of the 4th down conversion and 3 picks, they would have won 36-16. Fix the redzone issues and they will start putting opponents away
