You really need to break the habit of trying to see how to "fix" everybody.

Especially if you're going to be the guy that comes back and says "See? I told you so about making those moves earlier..."

In part I am saying that I suppose. But I also realize Kemp could go 0 for his next 17.

 

Was it just me or did Cole look tired yesterday? He was still very effective, but it seems like he might be due for a bit of a regression.

 

Right now Correa is doing poorly. .

 

Just having a pulse at the bottom of the order is so nice again.

 

Tired? Distracted? Not sure. But something looked different to me as well in terms of body language. When he missed his spots, it seemed to bother him a bit more than previously.

Maybe I am seeing something that isnt there.

 

Not sure if he looked tired, but I thought to myself he looked uncomfortable.

 

Perhaps a slump? Even Mike Trout is in a 4-33 stretch. It happens.

 

His .169 for May would be by far his worst month since being an Astros if it holds.

That said, I am not worried. It does happen, certainly. A blip on the radar.

But it is interesting that despite his poor BA, his AB/HR ratio is lower (better) and so is his SO/BB ratio.

Cole becomes the 6th fastest pitcher to 100 Strikeouts since 1900.

 

This is from Cole's wife. Got a kick out of it.

 

Rangers had a pitcher miss all/most of last year with colitis. Believe what you want. I know you, of all people, will do just that.

 

Correa is hitting .174 at home, so it's not outrageous to mention that.
