You really need to break the habit of trying to see how to "fix" everybody. Especially if you're going to be the guy that comes back and says "See? I told you so about making those moves earlier..."
Was it just me or did Cole look tired yesterday? He was still very effective, but it seems like he might be due for a bit of a regression.
Tired? Distracted? Not sure. But something looked different to me as well in terms of body language. When he missed his spots, it seemed to bother him a bit more than previously. Maybe I am seeing something that isnt there.
His .169 for May would be by far his worst month since being an Astros if it holds. That said, I am not worried. It does happen, certainly. A blip on the radar. But it is interesting that despite his poor BA, his AB/HR ratio is lower (better) and so is his SO/BB ratio.
Rangers had a pitcher miss all/most of last year with colitis. Believe what you want. I know you, of all people, will do just that.
