Top 5 (I think) offense yardage-wise, but bottom 5 scoring. They've been very poor in the redzone, penalties have been plentiful. Please say you're not really concerned about Julio's pic.
Haha dude that’s exactly what I thought when I saw that on ig. I had to go look a pictures of him cuz I was like no way dude is that ugly. I always seem to have Julio or freeman on my fantasy team, both this year, and from that perspective they suck ass.
It's the first time I've ever seen him without a helmet on so I had to ask. eta: see, now this is a handsome man
The whole city is just completely abuzz about this game. All week long, you can just feel the energy.
That energy you feel is for the Stros my friend. The one team that’s been capable of showing champion level merit.
Was wondering why anyone 'buzzed' about the Falcons game, especially after the crap vs Carolina. It's gotta be the shoes, I mean, Stros.
Falcons 10 Texans 6 After he misses a 27 yard FG and extra point in the first half, BoB has Jack Easterby perform an exorcism on Fairbairn at halftime. When they find that Fairbairn has been possessed by the spirit of Ray Finkle, BoB trades all of his 2nd half TOs to the Falcons for Morten Andersen's "katra". Andersen files tampering charges on the Texans, causing a loss of 1st rounders in 2022 and 2023. BoB is then forced to play a zombie like Fairbairn in the 2nd half of the game where miraculously he almost ties the game after a 53 yard FG attempt triple doinks off the helmets of Bryan Anger, Jon Weeks and the right goal post. After the game, BoB cuts Fairbairn and announces that the Texans will play the rest of the season without an actual place kicker, and instead will split the kicking duties between between a combination of Ian Howfield's crying towel, Al Del Greco's cup from the 1993 season and Bartlett "Bart" Zendejas, 2nd cousin to Luis and Tony, who refuse to acknowledge his heritage after Bart was caught dating a Kardashian. BoB states he is excited by the group's "versatility".
No, it was a shutout 30-0 which got off to a great start when the Chiefs ran the opening kickoff back for a td.
This is a team that let Jacoby Brissett and Marcus Mariota put up good numbers. Neither had a turnover and only one sack in those two games. If the offense doesn't show out and keep Deshaun upright, there is something seriously wrong. I thought we should have handily beaten the Jags and Panthers, but the reality is they are respectable if not good defenses, something that the Falcons are not.
To put a finer point on this post... I've been a Texans STH for a decade now. I've never sold a game ticket of mine for a loss (unless it was purposefully). Last week vs. the Panthers my tickets didn't sell until less than an hour before kickoff, and when they did sell, it was for an -80% loss. This game is looking even worse. If BOB gets fired, this will be why. Money talks.
