Says someone who made $400,000 a year teaching two classes a week at a law school.

Where does she think that debt came from??

Writing off student debt will encourage more people to borrow more knowing it will be cancelled
by government. Universities tuition has SKYROCKETED as have the number of tenured professors
and school administrators making huge salaries for very little work.

The educational complex is a cesspool of bureaucracy and higher costs to students is the result.

She was part of that cesspool. Her life is lived on the crutches of debt on students.

You do know that proffessors do a lot more than just their lectures right?

Look at the highest paid public employee in each state. They are usually college football coaches. I think expert law proffessors who are world renown experts in such things as bankruptcy laws would be worth a 400,000 dollar salary. They provide a larger benefit to society than college football coaches who get paid 1-2 million dollars in salary in D1 schools.

Perhaps, but 5 years from now, an even bigger portion of the Republican base will be dead and replaced with more young voters.

The country is moving to the left on a lot of issues and that ultimately will push both parties to the left.

    Sure she can.

The general election is a different animal and winning the election is a major concern.

This belief that the wealthy are over night going to be flushed from this process is not remotely realistic. Most change in the USA is incremental and aligns with how the opinions and values of the country change.

It's sad that she would demand $400,000+ to teach law school.

That capitalistic profiteering is what is driving up the prices of education.

She should get salary clawed back as these student loans are turning sour!

Can't blame someone for taking market value for their services. The market is broken, the participants are not.

    What if it does?

What is Trump going to possibly say?

Trump: "You cheated on your husband."

Warren: "Shut up orange boy, you were raw dogging a prostitute while your wife was healing from giving birth to your special needs son."

    Trump: "What a nasty woman."

Warren: "Shut up Donny. This is one woman you won't be grabbing by the p***y."

The reality is that Trump has done every possible transgression they can try to attach to Warren.

She was one of the top experts in the world at her subject matter while teaching at the absolute top university in the world. Honestly $400,000 isn't a lot of money for someone with her resume.

The absolute top academics making what a moderately successful plaintiff's trial attorney makes or what a new surgeon earns isn't the problem.

I'm more concerned with the nearly $900,000,000 that the President lost, and then wrote off in bankruptcy during a three year span.

The entire point of not taking corporate and billionaire fundraiser money is to not be bought by those interests. Therefore I don't really see the point in going clean for the primary, but not the general. Bernie is showing that it is realistic, by raising the most money of any candidate exclusively from small-dollar donations. I don't think most want incremental change, I think that's just your own personal boat, as shown by the current president, many want significant change (not just on the right, by any means either), many are sick of politicians being bought and fighting against the average Americans interest.

Sure, if you can complete the courses and do well, why not? Is going to high school for free absurd to you?

Just because you accept money from corporate people don't mean you are bought off.

Some of those corporate donors have conflicts of interest.

Also you know a politician can actually have morals and ethics.

Do you really think all of these small dollar donors are actually individuals?

Education is good but we should retool it. We should send low intelligence people to the military and a jobs training program early on. School, as it is, is useless for many teens.

And we should. Citizens in the most wealthy nation on the planet should be able to have a system where kids can have an equal opportunity to earn a high skilled proffesion regardless of income of their parents are.

It's that simple and you aren't going to convince me otherwise.
