Reasonable guess suggests Clowney could've played better before that final play.

    Sh1tty ass pass rush today

A Cowboys loss would have made this day a little better. Damn.

Well why didn’t BoB use the blueprint the Jags had to stop Andrew Luck last week?

    what happened?

In a way It did. no safety blanket when the full blitz was coming. I would have liked seeing deshaun get the ball back with 1:40 to go. If Carter isn't murdered on that play he hangs on for the incredible pass and catch. Griffin got a bad deal on the no call T.D. That would have been 3 tds for watson with some missed deep shots on play action roll out. the only thing I would have liked watson doing differently today throwing the ball away which I've been saying since game 1. I got rabbit holed into watching gruden camp the other day, one with Brett Favre looking back at his earlier days. Holmgrem kept telling him to throw the ball away, Favre wasn't having any of it. "I always believed I could make something happen if I held on to the ball. Sometimes it didn't work out for me." It might take another season or two for Watson to throw the ball away comfortably.
What bothered me the most about the game is that since 2012? Ty manages to go Ham. Just by accident, you'd think they would have found a way to contain him to at least 120 yards.

But the Steelers and Pats lost to "bad" teams so nothing has change in the quest for the bye. It happens.

Why didn't offensive genius BOB scheme a gameplan to negate their "blueprint"?

These are all very solid and valid points, yet BOB is still an idiot.

They were fine without Carter. Webb should not have seen the field. The first possession of the second half they went two tight ends most of the time and drove right down the field. Then they completely forgot about it and looked like crap again. That was bad coaching. BOB did not adjust to what was working.

    Code:

                REC YDS AVG LNG TGTS
    Ryan Griffin 5 80 16.0 47 5
    Jordan Akins 2 40 20.0 27 2
    Jordan Thomas 4 31 7.8 14 4
                 11 151 13.7 11

I hear you, they could've implemented more TE sets but they were using the TEs as extra linemen to protect Deshaun. This team really has a lot of holes, sound coaching would help

That's the blueprint to slow down O'briens scheme, not to slow down Watson.

Why even trot out Joe Webb when you have tight ends that were making all the plays? If the Colts want to cover the WR, then use your freaking tight ends, you know, the three you have that have been on the team since game 1. So frustrating when no adjustments are being made. I refuse to believe their LB and safeties could have covered our tight ends.

Clowney is just another Aldon Smith, whose only a one dimensional pass rusher and more than often, he failed to cover the corner on the run play and that’s a big hole in his game.

Yes he will make some plays and will have good stats when healthy, but really not worth the big contract.

O’Brien is going against the barrier of 10 wins now he got 3 chances to get it there is no reason we shouldn’t have Atleast 11 wins when the season ends

Funny, the main on-field criticism of JD over his career is that he does not get to the QB enough and is 'only' one of the best edge run stoppers in the NFL.

Watson calls his own blitz protection.

Not everything is on the coach. He doesn't execute. He doesnnt miss open receivers. He doesn't not throw it away.

You can't blame everything on the coach because you don't like him.

Watson is a great young player, but he's got a ways to go.

On one of the final plays of regulation, got worked in typical XSF fashion.

Doesn't matter though Brian. Cowboys won in OT.
