Minor league baseball team to host 'Florida Man Night', will break new law every inning Fire up the Skynyrd, throw the kids in the back of the pickup, and crack a couple of road sodas, because the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp have just announced Florida Man Night, and if you're a fan of baseball, people watching, and public intoxication tickets, you simply cannot miss this plumbers crack jamboree. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/mi...ida-man-night-will-break-new-law-every-inning
Just had some conversation with a contractor dozer operator from Florida last week thats moving around with his job currently living in Mississippi. Pretty cool guy with a Jimmy Buffett vibe said he can’t wait for retirement to get back home, he loves it there in Florida. He warned about citrus trees, I was like you mean like lemon, limes and oranges? He said no, there’s trees there that are just called citrus and the fruit juice will literally burn you.
It's amazing to think that in 2015, the Astros hit the 3rd least GIDPs. Every year since then they've been in the bottom 10, finishing 2018 with the most GIDP's of any team.
Can we at least have a catcher that can get the f-ing run home from 3rd with less than two outs? That's all I ask.
Contact. They used to have the highest SO rate in the league back then. It was all or nothing. High contact rates give the D more DPs. Still won a WS with it though
