He completely candyassed that pickoff throw to 3rd. Then he flipped up a pitch inside on 2-2 that if it was 3 inches closer to the plate it would still be orbiting MMP.

Glad he beared down and got out of it! Here come the Astros....

eta: this would be a great time for Bregman to do Bregman things

How about Altuve scraping the ball to the gap between short and third?

Shorten up and Stroke it. Great job, Bregs!

Oh damn, that 1-0 pitch to Brantley needed to be punished.

Altuve's hit counts as one with RISP. 6-45 now. This is getting seriously close to thinking about the Mendoza Line.

Astros winning 1-0, Rockets winning, Cubs getting destroyed. Good day so far.

Correa is a wizard when he's feeling right.

eta: 0-1, 2 outs, guy on 3B, threw it right down the middle. Oops.

    Great AB, Kemp.

We got a hit wRISP, but didn't score. At least it didn't happen due to being thrown out at the plate.

Gotten some RISP hits today but 2 of those hits didn't produce runs. Thought that would be the breakout inning.

    7-48 RISP

Stros are not allowed to score more than 1 run in an inning, it's happened twice in 67 innings (Springer 3 R HR and Brantley 2 RBI 2B)
