Why the hell would batting practice be optional the day before a league championship game baffles me. Does James harden now shoot around the day before he plays the Warriors? Is Greinke supposed to not get 1-hit and get thrown out on the base paths and swing at every first pitch? He was good. Imagine how much better would be if he wasn’t feeling like EVERY pitch had to be perfect because his team can’t score any runs for him.
I do remember one of the games against Boston (coulda been KC or NY but don't think so) that I got pissed off in around the 2nd inning and just went full GARM the rest of the game. The workouts were not voluntary from what Hinch said, and everyone was there, and there was even video of it and interviews and **** if you're interested in going back and looking at it.
