When youre the team sitting atop every other one, people get tired of looking up and seeing your b-hole. What I say to that is, "**** on em all".
I'd put the count at 25 TB fans seem between Game 1 and 2. Pretty sure 5 of them were family members as well.
Any win is a good win, but last night's win was a bit "uncomfortable." "Too close for comfort" might be another way of saying it. Going forward, I should feel "confident" but I don't. I remember the beginning of the season when the Rays won three straight. The pitching performances in the first two games were as good as it gets, actually historically good. We have no one else who can pitch like that. The Rays are very, very persistent, testy, and resilient. It is going to take a huge effort to eliminate them. They are not the Twins.
You could be right but it’s also just a tiny sample size. I mean he drew a walk and nearly hit a 3 run homer. That terrible first pitch swing sure does stand out though. I personally don’t draw much from this outing for him.
He’s not ready. Sad thing, you either got it or don’t. Alvarez didn’t need this long to learn. Tucker won’t be a everyday player for this team.
to the level of JV and Cole right now? it's not likely at this point of his career. he can still be good of course, but it won't be the sheer dominance like those two
Anyone think the baseballs are dead in our series. Several times the Astros looked like they ripped it, and they've ended up on the warning track as fly outs. I don't remember that happening in the regular season at all. Need to see more. But that's my gut feeling.
Does anyone else feel uncomfortable with the way Springer is hitting? He is batting 0 and his AB's yesterday were terrible.
The stool went to the woodchipper today. It was a sad day. And each base was cut up into little pieces and stuffed into baseball cards by a butcher. It's the underbelly and darkside of the game. And we just look the other way pretend it's not happening.
considering this was very similiar to how the 17 playoffs started and he ended up just being a monster as the playoffs went along. Im good. hes way too talented for this to continue.
If you watched the last several Astros postseasons you will know what you're seeing. He will break out...just a matter of time.
