Yeah, especially the fact that Osuna has always struggled against the Red Sox throughout his career is what had me really worried.
This was a really enjoyable baseball game. And I only saw the second half of it. Two titans going at each other. Excellent pitching by both sides. Cole successfully fighting off attacks over and over. Both teams taking advantage of the few mistakes or opportunities the other team gave them and scraping together runs. Porcello pitched an excellent game, but got greedy resulting in an epic, lead-changing home run. Great baserunning, great fielding. Pressly. Just a damn good baseball game, period.
Also, I hope Tampa hangs on and beats NYY. Yeah, they give us a tough time when we visit them, but I can't hate them. TK is from there, so are Tucker and Cionel Perez. And anyone other than BOS/NYY winning the East is nice. BTW, I actually met a father/son who was travelling from Tampa last summer when the Rays came to Houston. Very nice people, I have a positive impression of their fanbase.
