Game is 2 1/2 hours old, only 8 runs total, yet hasn't reached the 7th.

The Andrus 2B wasn't a bad pitch, the Gallo one was. Pretty much a textbook Framber outing: good stuff mixed with wildness.

 

Ugh, called safe. Still a nice catch by Altuve and great effort on the throw. Anyway, I always feared that all the baserunners allowed by Valdez would eventually catch up to him, and it looks like that's happening.

 

Verlander going only 4 innings is more of an anomaly than hinch not making better decisions with pitchers.

 

He wasn’t bad. Will certainly be a weapon against lefties this season.

The Rangers have professional hitters... and early on in the season, before injury/fatigue sets in, guys like Choo, Andrus, and Mazara would be top 5-6 hitters in most lineups.

 

dude has nasty stuff, just can't find that consistency. the talent is there.

 

After JV's outing they were going to use Framber 'cause that's why he's on the roster: the guy that can go multiple innings. Josh James can't be that guy every time.

 

I only meant he wasn't able to do what was needed today. Later on in the season or a different situation, who knows?

Bregman has found a way to turn around his game after a bad start. Sure wish Altuve would follow suit.
