That was a pretty hot shot. So a moment for Altuves hands as well. Bravo!

Javier only threw 1 fastball above 93 mph that inning with a lot of 91 mph fastballs. Maybe has 1 inning left, but probably want pen on speed dial.

Was the argument distance or hardness?

I also think he was paranoid about the runner on 2nd relaying signs.

Middle of the lineup guys (which the Astros have about 6 or 7 of) do not practice bunting, ever ever in their career.

It's not a skill that works unless you're a light-hitting utility IF or whatever and that helps you stay on the team.

Madison Bum should be in the Astros rotation.

Asking middle of the order hitters to work on bunting is like asking point guards to work on post-up/hook shots.

Who was it on the board that was expecting anyone and everyone to bunt, even guys like Pujols and Carlos Lee?

Yes! He can PH and bunt every 10th inning when he doesn't start.

Really liking what I've been seeing out of Tucker so far. Nothing flashy, just solid play. Good progress i think.

Buzzers working again, according to twitter.

Scary to think what this lineup would do with that backdrop every game...

Great to see the bats wake up. I hope Javier gets to go back out there another inning or two.

Nah, he's not worth 17 million a year anymore.

I didn't say we were gonna pay him. He's only getting $75M over the next 4 years...I'm sure the Dback would pick up most of that.

So is it time to move Springer out of the leadoff spot?
