Rangers: should we try to make playoffs or lose every game to Oakland in hopes Oakland keeps Astros from winning division? Rhetorical question, of course we should lose every game to Oakland so Astros might not win the division. A chance is all we need.
Yea dude don’t rollover two times in a row and dog it to the bag as well. Edit: first one was a hit without a shift. I’m sorry, tucker
Bielak looked fine. Induced some whiffs but would have loved more punchouts. Got bailed out by the defense (especially Springer), though. But five shutout is always great, regardless, especially for a rookie making his first start. Let's get him to 3-0. ETA: Altuve!!!!!!! Hopefully this breaks him out of his slump! Now time to take a refreshing drink of the haters' tears.
Arizonas guy are complimentary. Not a word of the scandal and kept saying, "You know it was going to happen eventually, someone was gonna pay. Hes gonna hit the ground running." on Altuve. Respect.
Matt Chapman was very humble, professional, respectful, and straightforward as well on a national broadcast with ESPN. He was asked about Oakland's chances at winning the division, and went through each team. He said, "of course we all know about the Astros." When asked, "we all know what?" by one of the announcers, it sounded like they were trying to bait him into mentioning the scandal. But instead he said something like "we all know what their offense can do" and also called us one of the best teams and acknowledged we're the defending AL champs and won the division the last 3 years. Respect.
