Keuchel didn't squirm out of ****, he threw an unhittable pitch for strike3.

The rest of that inning was his own doing.

Honestly, I think Keuchel deserves more credit than he's getting this game. Yes, he gave up a home run. Those happen. The guy also just got out of bases loaded, no outs against the best part of their lineup only giving up one run. That throwing error by Davis putting two guys in scoring position with no outs changed the whole complexion of that inning.

Yeah, Davis just got a hit (finally), but he's trash in the bigs on offense and defense and needs to disappear when the playoffs come.

Harris must have a good history vs Urena.

Get this out before runs are scored, dammit

Today’s name that Astro was Alan Ashby, with the clue “buns”. Are they referring to Julia’s buns?

Shifts work more often than not or so that’s the theory.

Hinch pulling stunts with Davis and Harris getting time. Both moves have worked out.

    Hopefully not Alan's ;)

    ****in'A Will!!!

This is one of the few real "high leverage" situations he's been put in since July.

We went over a lot of this earlier in the season with Keuchel. There were several games where I went through the video and Keuchel gave up multiple hits that had the players been in the traditional positions would not have been hits. Keuchel even showed some emotion about it. I think the shift doesn't work as well with Keuchel because he produces a lot of soft contact and doesn't strike out a ton of players. Guys are out in front, late, reaching, etc and don't hit it where they "typically" do but still put it in play against Keuchel.

I heard Luhnow already got all of your speculative data confirmed, and took a giant dump on the file folder....and placed it in Keuchel's locker.

They all laughed about it later... and Dallas even offered to clean it all up. The chemistry with this team is that good.

Man, the shift did Harris dirty twice.

Net positive, but it certainly is aggravating when it doesn't work out.
