Well there you have it I don’t feel like there will be any retaliation now, I think Hinch was waiting to see if they were punished but we will see.
Ausmus has earned Kenny Smith Sellout status. We brought them in this world, and we'll take them out.
I think the way Ramirez acted after he hit Jake with the pitch was confrontational. It was like he was looking for any response to react to. Maybe I got it wrong but he looked to be staring down Jake the whole time. And, I think the Angels in general were looking for anything to react to. Maybe MLB noticed the same thing? It seemed odd when the dugouts didn't really clear and here comes the whole freakin' Angels bullpen. Would have been funny if our bullpen raced out and met them halfway tackling them. Looks like we got a rivalry here, boys! IT'S ON! OH YEA! I get it...LA is tired of us kicking their arses all the time. LOL.
Yeah, I saw the same thing. His body language after the pitch showed his intent. Not that there was ever any doubt really.
I made a pretty-long post on this in the Jake Suspended thread, so I won't copy and paste it here. TL;DR: No matter how enticing, no Astros should do or say anything else about this situation now that Ausmus and Ramirez have been suspended. Especially something retaliatory or aggressive. We've shifted to having the moral high ground now (in terms of perception), and the Angels look bad, and that's how it needs to stay. Time to go out and win extremely boringly.
