It still stings, but I honestly feel a lot better about the whole experience now than I did three weeks ago. The Blue Jays and Mets are terrific teams, and the Royals did literally the exact same thing to those teams that they did to us in Game 2 and especially Game 4. Still a frustrating style of baseball for me to watch, but it's effective... and seeing other teams go through similar struggles (Familia is electric, and he had three blown saves), it's a lot easier for me to turn the page and not fixate on the "woe is us, Houston sports are cursed" line of thinking. Ready to go out and address the bullpen and be even better in 2016.
From the 7th inning on, Royals outscored their opponents 52 to 11 this postseason. Their winning the WS makes the Astros look better. We played them best out of all others this playoffs and probably regular season too. Stros will reload and come back stronger.
from being at game 5 with the cards vs astros, and the 7th inning of this game the crowd was way better. it was literallyy effin crazy when colby hit that hr. was the loudest ive ever heard ( been to texans/rockets/dynamo/arsenal games)
