[Official 2013 NFL Season] Fantasy Football Lineup Advice Thread

Well, I'm sticking with Daryl Richardson this week. I just don't have any confidence in Joique Bell and Pierce has been a huge disappointment.

Last week, Richardson and Stacy split carries, which tells me that Fisher hasn't totally given up on Richardson. Anybody who's had the joker knows that he's getting phased out of that offense in Detroit.

I hope I just get some points from Richardson, but I'm not holding my breath on it.

 

need a RB to fill in for the bye week (and possible for the year for me since T Richardon sucks).

which one of these would you try and pick up for Week 8?

Helu is the new TD vulture. Supposedly, he's faster off the blocks than Morris and he can catch, so Helu is now a 3rd down back + red zone back. I hope nobody waiver claims him in front of me.

 

Someone dropped Fred Jackson in my league. I have the second waiver priority and I'm pretty thin at rb (rice, pierce, ridley, powell). I pick him up, right?

 

Not sure he's the 'red zone back'. One of his TDs came from 10+ yards out (that would be red zone but most people use 'goal line back' for fantasy purposes). From what I've read it seems he was just in the game at an opportune time and capitalized on that. I'm pissed that he's already owned in my league though. I drafted him and had to drop him. I kept Tate over Helu .

 

So who should I pick up in waivers?

Chris Ivory or Peyton Hillis. maybe for starting this week.

I would go Ivory.. Hillis may be the better option but Andre Brown is coming back and will probably be the starter.

 

I have soo many players in BYE (Luck, Hilton, Nate Washington, Chris Johnson)...

Which QB should I pick up? Big Ben or Geno

Keep Greg Jennings or pick up Antonio Brown (vs Raiders)?

Keep Harline or pick up Brandon Lafell?

 

Seriously Antonio Brown is available? Pick him up quick... and I would go Big Ben and keep Hartline.

 

Should I drop the Ravens/Crabtree to pick up a D/ST with the Ravens on bye or should I not play a D/ST? I am playing a weak team.

Drop Crabtree, I don't think anyone will pick him up.. You want to pick up a defense because every point counts.. and you don't want to end up being tied for the last playoff spot and have those possible extra points haunting you.

 

Always field a full starting lineup, unless the player you have to drop is like a J. Bell to your Reggie Bush.

Then maybe I would consider playing a man down.

 

I picked up the Broncos D. They are playing against Washington this week but they were the best available long term. Should I drop them for Raiders at PIT?

 

Is percy harving playing this week?
