I go Crabtree. 49ers will have to throw to stay in the ball game with Packers, and last year Packers gave up the highest avg fantasy points per week to WRs.

Redskins will probably be passing a lot as well, given the Saints offense, and their defense isn't nearly as good as the 49ers.

I think Crabtree is better for yards, but Davis has a better chance of scoring.

What do you guys think about Mike Thomas in a 20 team PPR and return yardage/TD league?

He is now the punt returner and kick returner and Gabbert really likes him on 3rd down. Blackmon will get a lot of targets but Gabbert seems to like Thomas.

BTW, I know I am reaching but it is 20 team so I really have to scour available players and look beyond the main guys for points each week.

    What are your other options?

In a 20 team league, I like Thomas. Gabbert will be better and efficient this year.

    Blount, Green-Ellis or Dwyer

Leaning blount because I still think they will go to him in goal line situations over the rookie

BJGE. At least you know he is the man in Cincy.

In a 20 team hoping for him to bounce back is reasonable. Most likely ends up like Eddie Royal though.

Blount hasn't been used as a goal line back previously, so it's hard to say he'll take on the Michael Bush role.

I would go Law Firm since he's the unquestioned starter.

I'm starting to lean more towards Law Firm now that Scott is out, in my S. Greene/D. Brown/BJGE dilemma....

He went for 68 yards and a TD against them in the playoffs last year.

Played them in 2010, only had 20 yards, but scored a TD.

Cedric Benson against the Ravens last year:

51 yards (Benard Scott got a rushing TD)
    41 yards 2 TDs

You may notice a trend of rushing TDs against the Ravens D.

Yeah, I do think their D will suffer this year at the LB position but their D-line is still pretty stout. But you make a good point, Green_ellis may not get big yards but he could get some TDs.

Guys, who should I start this weekend at QB?

    Matt Schaub vs Miami
    Ben Roethlisberger vs Denver

Most signs point to starting Matt Schaub vs Miami considering Miami's not so good rush defense.

But I'm looking at Ben Roethlisberger and with the Steelers injuries I feel like Ben is going to be flinging it any chance he can get. But ofc, Broncos' rush defense is not something you would call crappy and I also think they'll focus on Ben.

So please advise me on your thoughts.

My RB situation is dire, indeed. I've got Adrian Peterson, MJD, Peyton Hillis and Ben Tate. I've pretty well decided I'm throwing MJD out there as I think he will get enough carries to have an impact. How much rust he is shaking off will remain to be seen. I'm not sure about AP, but I'm thinking I will play Ben Tate in his place this week because I expect the Texans to trounce the Dolphins which would mean a lot of carries for Foster/Tate. Tate seems to do well with few carries so I might even net a TD out of it.

    Thoughts?

Probably should start Tate and Hillis. Tate can probably net a 2nd half TD, and Hillis a short plunge.

I don't think MJD or Peterson will do much.

I have MJD in another league and was going to roll him out there because I still think he can have a impact, especially against Minny. But I think the better play is Green Ellis (i have him in 2 leagues.) Hopefully MJD will come on strong mid season because what a waste of a early pick if not...fyi, i was late to the draft so it autodrafted him for me.

MJD's snaps this week will be as a change of pace back, so probably 1/3 the total carry load?
