Flex spot, standard scoring and also with "if" situations.

    P. Hills vs. ATL

    K. Smith vs. STL (If he practices all week and is healthy)

    R. Turbin @ ARI (If Lynch is ruled out of the whole game)

I'd also go with Kevin Smith in both instances. Especially since LeShoure isn't available.

Ronnie Brown was nonexistant last year.

Gerhart warrants some consideration, but it is hard to predict how involved AD is going to be.

It's probably because I've been burned so many times last season by K. Smith and his bum ankles but I don't trust that guy worth ****.

I'd play Brown over him honestly, I think he still has some juice left plus he'll be getting the bulk of the carries monday night.

If it were me I'd do Gerhart and Brown.

    Kevin Smith or Michael Turner?

    Non PPR, standard yahoo league.

I wouldn't depend my season to Kevin Smith by any means. In the long-run he is terrible because he will get hurt. For this one game against a Rams team that doesn't have a great D, I like it.

Brown has injury issues himself throughout his career and has been bad for 2 years.

    Michael Turner

He may end up with a very mediocre year, but he's still a decent option.

I like Smith. He performs when he's out there and LeShoure isn't hard to stash.

    +1 for Turner.

You can't risk the goose egg from Smith.

Michael Turner. Playing in Arrowhead and Lions playing in StL dome. I go with more carries for Turner.

Smith is a lot more useful in a PPR, but Turner, even if less involved in the offense will still probably be good for at least 70 and a touch.

I think it's cause I depended 2 crucial games on him last season and he limped off both times before even hitting half time.

I think Brown has relatively fresh legs after being used minimally in Philly last year. He was definitely overused becaue of a lack of playermakers around him down in Miami which put some miles on him but I think he still has some spring left.

I like the matchup for Smith but it's probably one of those fool me once, fool me twice, fool me a third time, no way; instances for me.

Make me want to start Hillis over K. Smith now...

Hillis is a decent play this year. He's back with his old OC who pounded him into the dirt in Cleveland.

But sharing time with Charles will hurt his overall numbers.

Look for Hillis to get 13-16 carries a game. In a good game where KC is winning easily he may get 20 carries.

But on the positive side he will get some goal line looks.

Noobish question but who to start?

Romo vs. NYG (I'm leaning Romo)
    Flacco vs. CIN
    Freeman vs. CAR

Also, should I go with Kevin Smith (vs. STL) or take a chance that Trent Richardson (vs. PHI) will be healthy week 1? PPR league, by the way

    Thanks

Romo for sure. Get rid of Freeman by trading for RB/WR depth if you can find a sucker. Also, Smith by a landslide in PPR.

Romo, although I do think Flacco could be a sneaky good performer this year.

Smith should get you some good production because of his ability to catch dump offs.

I really think KC is going to do well this year as a ball control, defensive team. Cassel's Rob Johnson syndrome is the only thing really holding them back, but they do have some weapons in the passing game as well.

I think they will deploy Hillis and Charles both well, and both will put up good fantasy stats. I can see KC being near the top with Houston in total rushing yards per game. Charles will rip off long runs and Hillis will probably get a lot of clean up 1 yard TD plunges.
