Is anyone here who watched gymnastics before, who can tell me if all these falls are usual?

 

ya, it's pretty common on the beam. but the beam is usually not that dangerous. the uneven bar is way more dangerous. a few of them actually broke their spin. they need to concentrate big time. just hope the crowd doesn't get to rowdy and distract them.

 

i meant ahead of 3rd. we can't catch china now. since they aren't talking about anyone else i assume no one is that close to us for 2nd.

 

1st time turning to the olympics beside basketball and seen the hot girl that almost fell. Man I wanted to console her

i don't know. i think there is only the Russian team that's good. US is deep enough to be 2nd. no doubt about it.

 

To be fair to all other swimmers, I propose they add a medal to the swimming competitions.

so how was shawn johnson only .2 better than those last 2 chinese gymnasts? except for the back flip with a twist, she didn't even flinch on anything else and they were bobbling all over the place. and they couldn't have had harder routines than that one.

edit: ok we're up 5.8 points on 3rd.

 

If the Chinese gymnastics team had Olympic gymnasts half as good looking as Alicia Sacramone we wouldn't hear anything about girls looking young.

I don't care what she does, give her the gold please.

We need a **** up by China, and USA needs to be near perfect.

 

no idea, i can't do any of the things they do. so i can't really tell what's harder or not. the scoring is pretty systematic. they got a starting value, with possible bonuses. any mess up is a standard deduction. so it should be pretty fair.
