[O'Connor] Sources: A three-way deal was discussed to send Robert Covington to Houston

sounds like the first 3 teams have agreed in principal. just gotta find that 4th team to get a center for the rockets.

Capela for Covington straight up as idiotic. Covington might be a slight upgrade over House but he’s not a huge difference maker. The only way this is a good deal is if we get draft picks in return to flip for another back up center or power forward.

Somehow I think Morey is desperate enough to F this thing up, again. He should be focusing on bringing in a guy like Collins, an athletic 6’9” SF/PF that can shoot and catch kind from Harden and Westbrook, or perhaps a deal like the one proposes with the Nets. Unfortunately, no one is biting because they know he’s desperate and willing to give up draft picks. I mean, seriously, everyone knows we can’t bring Capela back now that he knows he’s on the trading block, and Morey already stated publicly he’s willing to give up picks for a wing player. Just stupid.

 

If we trade Clint for just Covington, I am done with Daryl. He needs to go. Just sign Jeff Green and call it a day, Jesus Christ.
