    I swore off politics with the election of 2016, but I did have a thread some time ago about Obama being a closet Muslim. It's perfectly fine to be a Muslim (but not a terrorist) or anything else religion-wise, but he should at least be honest about it, especially now that he has screwed Israel with a U.N. abstention on expansion in territory that belongs to them.

    Even Democrats in the House and Senate think it was a shameful act of betrayal of an ally.

    Thumbs, I'm not even sure you know what "being a Muslim" really means. You seem to correlate any number of things unrelated to Islam to being a Muslim. Shouldn't he at least have to have a Quran and pray to Mecca do all that other jazz that Muslims normally consider as required?

    Maybe I'm a Muslim, too, and I don't even realize it?

    You are a Democrat -- a far-left one at that, which is okay (at least you are one of the unabashedd champions of Far Left). How do you feel about the possibility of losing a major sector of Democratic support? Even Chuck Schumer pleaded with Obama not to abstain, but Obama did it anyway.

    The fact that Obama doesn't like Israel doesn't mean he's a "closet Muslim" it just means he's a good liberal. Hating Israel is like day 1 material for prospective liberals.

    actually Putin is the one who is Muslim in closets, if we agree on this less than intelligent term, but don't bite your thump,after one major massacre like the one on Aleppo, UN council tend to give away a complimentary 5 cent back

    I'm not quite understanding your post. However, I stand with you in condemning Putin and Assad for the Aleppo massacre. I also condemn Obama for doing nothing to prevent it or do anything but wring his hands afterward. Remember, Obama's feckless inaction in the Mideast allowed Putin to enter the fray.

    To be honest I don't understand why you care what is Obama's religion behind closed doors (or closets).
    I'm an Israeli and I'm not so sure it's a bad decision considering there haven't been any movement towards peace in over a decade now..
    Question is what the UN considering as occupied settlement.
    If you ask most of the hard core lefties in this board all of Israel is an occupied territory.
    At least it can bring to the discussion where should the borders be.

    I think both sides agree it's an occupation, some can justify/legitimate it more than others
    Settlement expansion by default is an attempt to complicate this issue and add more obstacles, anyhow happy Hanukkah
