Not sure how to embed an article, but former secrete service agent, Dan Bongino goes in on the Obama administration... http://www.ijreview.com/2013/11/936...n-bongino-obama-presidency-worse-people-know/ Came across this and thought it was very interesting. He's careful not to say anything overly specific due to his obligations as an agent, but what he does say is quite eye-opening. I won't pretend to know my way around politics and government very well, but I just came across this article and felt it was something worth sharing on here for y'all to discuss. Lock if posted.
We're finding out what most already knew/suspected about Obama. He was woefully inadequate to have the role of President. He got a lot of support since he was "not Bush" in 2008 as well as since he was half white/half black, which drew out a lot of voters who wouldn't have ordinarily voted. The reality is the man had a very weak resume coming into the role. Community organizer, then politician. Not impressive. The other thing about him is that he's likely not that smart. Notice he won't release his college grades? Go ahead and assume they're not good. If they were good, he would have released them. He likely had "a helping hand" (skin color) getting into Ivy League schools. Have you seen him without the teleprompter? Disaster. He's just not a leader, and probably isn't all that smart. Then ON TOP OF THAT, he's indoctrinated in Chicago style politics. Smear your opponent. Cronyism (Obamacare website sweetheart deal) THEN there's the whole issue of spying, killing Americans, using the IRS to do his dirty work. THEN there's the complete lack of accountability at every turn. This has been nothing short of a disaster of a president.
He is still getting a lot of credit for not being Bush, though it's somewhat misplaced since that list could apply to either for the most part. Amazingly, some knew how bad a president he was before he was even president! Oh and you forgot to mention his birth certificate.
Not relevant to what the former secret service agent said, but this series of comments on the article was pretty funny.
So you're telling me to f*** off? another liberal eruption that results in name calling. I'm not surprised. You're trying to defend Obamacare -- that's got to be a source of frustration.
Maybe he's frustrated because of your signature and the disrespect it shows towards MLK. (Coming from you, of course)
?? I respect Dr King. Have you fallen back on tossing the race card if people criticize Obama? that's all you can offer? You should refrain from posting if that's all you can provide the board.
Yawn. 1. Totally nonspecific. 2. What he's describing is politicking, generally, in our republic. No reason to think this bad Obama is any different from any other president. He might be worse than we know, but Bush likely was too, and Clinton, and Reagan and every other SOB we've ever elected. 3. He's now a poltician himself and doing the same thing he accuses Obama of doing -- helping himself by tearing the other guy down.
This is disgusting. Whether you are pro Obama or not, Secret Service should not be doing this for any president no matter which party he/she belongs to. If we can't trust our secret service to keep it 'secret' anymore, who can we trust?
Irrelevant. The Secret Service has the right to free speech also. Is it tactless? Yes, but it has nothing to do with secrecy.
Par for the course and totally expected. In fact, given the Secret Service whisper campaign against the Clintons, I'm mildly surprised it has taken this long for something like this to pop up. That this comes from a guy running for office as a Republican should be the only thing worth mentioning here.
If Obama was failing, the right wing propaganda machine wouldn't be relentlessly attacking him. It's hilarious watching Republicans get a chubby thinking they can eliminate Obamacare. Sorry, not happening. It's here to stay, just like Democrats winning the White House, it's irreversible.
