I would have written to previous presidents too, but I never expected anything better from any of them so I wasn't disappointed.

It basically hasn't changed his opinion of him if he thinks of him as the best President of his lifetime, unless of course he thinks every president of his lifetime was horrible. 4 months isn't giving him enough time to do those things. I would fully expect an expansion of war in Afghanistan, and perhaps creating wars in other regions, and an eventual break of promise about raising taxes. I really just think Batman will not change his views on Obama if that does happen. It is hard to change your view of someone once it has been made.

 

Bush managed to go from 90% approval to 30% approval over about 5 years.

 

Why think lowly of all those Presidents? Did you not expect something from Clinton? I expect you voted for him twice.

 

I think half the country never like Bush. You know his approval was high largely because people felt more patriotic. Bush didn't even receive the popular vote, and many only voted for him with the belief that he was the lesser of two evils. The people that loved Bush never quit loving him, and defended his actions until the end.
