Anyone know if they offer Pfizer rather than Moderna now? Trying to get my mom vaccinated finally and she's afraid of the non-Pfizer vaccines. The website says Pfizer or J&J but the registration says Moderna or Pfizer. Can't reach a human being on the phone so wondering if anyone here knows.
I suspect they offer whatever they got; that they don't allow for choice. So you'll just have to hope they have the Pfizer in stock. I'm basing this off of how my employer (a hospital) gives out vaccines. I don't know about NRG in particular. But fwiw I got the Moderna. Aside from my dick falling off, no issues.
If you use CVS or the other drug stores to get it, they tell you on the scheduling page which one you're getting.
I got my first shot Tuesday, and there were a million places in my area offering. Got the Pfizer shot at a Walgreens. I could have gotten any of the 3 if I were picky.
This is the most recent report for NRG NRG Park To Allow Choice Between Pfizer Or J&J COVID-19 Vaccine https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/...johnson-vaccine-pfizer-nrg-park-lina-hidalgo/
At one point i know they were doing Moderna also. Maybe not anymore, but im not sure they will make any promises of one over the other.
NRG is Pfizer or J&J only. https://vacstrac.hctx.net/ Please make sure when registering to select Pfizer (if you are signing up with Harris County). We have two "locations" listed for NRG, one for Pfizer, one for J&J.
