I’m more interested in predicting why of all our players you chose Miley as the guy referred to just by first name.
I guess James. Not sure Sanchez is better in the short term. Would love to see them bring up Tucker for an audition, but couldn’t predict him for the playoff roster. We now have a very crowded bullpen with no place for a number o pitchers (Rondon, Devinski?)
The locks Verlander Cole Greinke Miley Osuna Pressly Peacock The bullpen is gonna be Thunderdome for the rest of the season. McHugh and James are probably the favorites, but we've got like 10 pitchers competing for the 5/6 other spots right now.
Wow, I’m befuddled, so much talent, where do you play them all? Luhnow and company are fielding a team of All stars... Guys who’ve made all stars! Verlander Cole Greinke Pressley Davinski Harris Springer Bregman Brantley Altuve Correa Diaz Guys who are playing like all stars! Miley Osuna Alvarez (probably rookie of the year) Gurriel Amazing team being fielded!!!

[QUOTE="NIKEstrad. Just so we’re tracking - that means no Rondon, James, Devenski... I’d say James could bump really any of the relievers if healthy. We also have the question of the month of August pre-September call ups... who goes down? I guess James and Pressly being hurt is 2 of the 3, but who goes down next? They may bump Urquidy after he starts tonight just to solve the roster crunch. Do Sanchez and Biagini still have options?[/QUOTE] I expect Rondon to be DFA'd once Peacock comes up. Peacock and James could make a case for a spot on the postseason roster, but I do not believe Devenski will make it. I expect Devenski to be sent down to AAA soon. He still has 3 years of options.
The batting order is scary for any pitcher and the pitchers are a nightmare for most batters. I think the championship is between the Yankees, Astros, and Dodgers. However, the Twins are kind of scary and don't forget the Rays. Boston is also lurking around.
It should be Astros vs. Yankees and Dodgers vs. Braves. It will make for a great playoff bash, but we have the tools to take down any of the rest.
