    I understand this line of thinking, but if one incorrect analysis means we don't trust our intelligence anymore, why even have intel agencies? Why not shut down the CIA/etc if we aren't going to trust anything they report? It's kind of silly that we pick and choose what intel we believe simply based on what we want to believe.

    Don't want to go to war with Syria? Point to intelligence with Iraq WMDs.
    Want to go to war with Syria? Point to intelligence with Bin Laden raid.

    It's kind of a silly way to approach serious decisions.
