It is annoying that the "fans" that are the least invested in the city of Houston are some of the loudest posters. I have no problem with anyone who wants to be a fan of the Rockets and come to this forum, but their was a certain amount of decorum in the beginning that is lacking now.

There are thousands of ways to be a Rockets fan. Hundreds of them are acceptable.

mastan is a good example of this. We are in the playoffs and just took a huge dump on the Jazz and their number 2 D and he makes a thread about how we should have signed Seth Curry and that Morey isn't anything special as a GM.

Absolutely false. There is only one way to be a Rockets fan and that is to support the name on the front of the jersey first and foremost, not the one on the back or anywhere else.

    Exactly this.

I don't care how one individual plays, so long as we get that W.

Gordon has a bad game, cool.
CP3 has a bad game, ok.
Clint has a bad game, fine.
If James Harden has a bad game, f***. Cause that means we most likely lost.

That doesn't mean I like James Harden more or less than any other guy I listed above (including our other role players). They're all critical parts of our full squad.

As long as ALL FIVE of them aren't having bad games we're most likely still good. If Harden has a terrible game it will take those other four individuals that much more, to pick up the slack, which isn't asking a ton but still asking a lot.

99.9% of the time I support the name on the back too if they have Houston or Rockets on the front and continue to do so once they've left. It's only the players like Pippen who didn't give their all to the team that I won't support.

This x1000. Of course we have the rare "fan" who continues to b**** even when the Rockets are killing it. Lol, this forum is seriously damned either way, win or lose and there's going to be some Nonsense troll post (not always but you know what I'm saying).

During the championship parade, there should be some type of removal of said fans, unfortunately we'd probably be down to 1/2, hahah

I am not that kind of fan who cannot see the weaknesses of his team. Unless one recognizes his weakness he cannot fix/overcome the weakness.

And once you recognize the weaknesses of the Rockets, how are you fixing/overcoming it?

There are lots of ways: if weakness in rebounding play players who can rebound, if in 3 point shooting then recruit players who can shoot etc.

So your target is only to beat Utah but my target is to beat GS and Bucks or whoever comes from East... means Championship.

There are fans who are okay with choking and do not address the issues and there are fans who really care for the team and want to identify and negate the weaknesses so that team does not choke.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "Time, place, occasion"? We are in the playoffs right now. Why the **** would you be bringing up us signing a role player right now? What the **** purpose does that serve?

OK, what specifically are you going to do about it right now? Tweet Morey during our playoffs run? During the offseason? Are you going to replace Morey yourself and magically go out to generate a player that can shoot and rebound who is willing to sign for the MLE or vet min? We tried to sign JJ Redick. We reached out to Ray Allen. We brought back House. Morey has been trying / doing things which is infinitely more than your worthless posts.

So what's your plan of action right now? You have no actual plan. You have no actual way of doing anything. You are just sitting here b****ing about something that as of now doesn't matter.
