Chicago, that is. Here's an article about Chandler, but the part I got a good laugh out of is at the end of the article. It's pretty sad when the coach dogs his team's defense in public. You can click the link to read the whole article if you want, but I've just included the part about Chicago's lack of defense. http://www.suntimes.com/output/bulls/cst-spt-bullnt20.html GET BACK: One area Floyd is most concerned about improving is transition defense. ''We scored 102 points against the Clippers, and when you score 100, you're scoring enough to win,'' he said. ''But you have no chance unless you have guys get back ahead of the ball and get in position." What about the half-court defense? ''We don't know much about [it], because we never get there,'' Floyd said. ''They're always dunking on the other end.''
No. I noted, as many here have about Griff, a couple of standout perfromances each of them had in preseason play. Big difference.
Well next time you come to the BBS to annoy us about your pothetic team, analyze your players defence abit better, that is what he was trying to say. Nuff sed....
Sure. As long as you'll kindly agree to spend a few minutes with your copy of "A Dummies Guide to Spelling" before you come online from now on...
Curry has done well for someone jumping from high school to the NBA--- he's been able to score fairly easily against the talent he's played against (though it is preseason)---his FT% and defense leave a lot to be desired though.
Speaking of which, wouldn't the word "Dummies" be spelled "Dummy's" instead? Also, I guess the Bulls have been in "preseason" mode for about the last 3 seasons.
GB, I have to give you some props for being able to withstand the constant barrage of punishment you take for these guys. BTW, you do know the Bulls suck, right?
It ain't where you been (as everyone LOVES TO REMIND ME WHEN I MENTION THE DYNASTY OF THE 90's), it's where you are and where you're headed. I think we have a bright future.
I don't think they do anymore... they may lose a lot this season, but it will be for lack of experience, not lack of talent. It will be fun watching the kids grow up to be stars in this league.
Hmm, interesting analysis. So they may lose a lot, but they won't suck, because they have some talent? I always thought that a piss poor record meant you sucked, no matter who you had on your squad. I must be from the old school.
That means your record sucks. I define suckdom as a bad team with no or nil talent or no or nil hope of getting better soon.
Based on what? "Crumbs" Krause will run off Chandler and Curry before they become great. Is Tim Floyd the answer? The Bulls will continue to suck, and they will continue to be used by free agents as leverage for signing with other teams.
